Mr. Mahar, as a principal, has practiced architecture as design architect, owner, and developer with emphasis on commercial rehabilitation and residential projects since 1974.  His depth of understanding of all aspects of a project from planning through construction is his strongest asset.  Many of his completed projects have dealt with historic restoration and/or preservation, seismic strengthening, accessibility, life safety, mechanical and electrical engineering issues and their coordination.
